Temple D, built around 535-525  BC, was dedicated to the goddess Athena. Located just north of Temple C, it is in an area filled with remains of buildings and altars.

Temple D  had a separate cinerary altar located right beside the east front of the temple, on the far side of the present view from the southwest.
