	The Sanctuary of Hercules Victor is located in Tivoli near the ancient Via Tiburtina (present-day Strada degli Orti). It represents a temple complex from the 1st century BC, formerly known as the Villa of Maecenas. This plan from the Italian Ministry of Culture shows that the Sanctuary of Hercules Victor includes a theater, temple, and a large colonnade built in two levels, whose west side sits atop a ridge. .
