This workshop, located at VI 16, 6, and excavated in 1845, contained two dolia or large storage jars, three
mortars, and 2 millstones. It was interconnected with several adjacent shops. Looking
north across the workshop in this image, a doorway at left leads to the neighboring
shop at VII 16, 5. At the rear was a doorway into another
shop at VII 16, 9.
An aediculum or wall shrine is on the entrance pilaster between this workshop and the adjacent thermopolium of Flavus Nicephoros, located just to the right at VI 16,7.
