Pompeii: shrine and impluvium of House at VI 13, 13-15 (photo Athena Review)

The unnamed house at VI 13,13-15 has its main entrance at No.14. A long entrance passageway leads to the atrium, whichhas a marble-lined impluvium or rain pool in the foreground, and a shrine or lararium along the back wall, visible  between the columns. The house has fragments of fourth style decoration.

At  number 13 there was a workshop with a side entrance. This location produced mosaics including an intact portrait of a woman. Number 15 contained a caupona with a back room.
