Pompeii: Quadriportico or Gladiators' Barracks

The
Quadriportico, part of the ancient gladiators' barracks, is located in the southern end
of Pompeii beside the Large Theater and the Odeon. This early photo
shows the colonnades lining all four sides of the compound which were
once roofed. The name is means "four porticos".
