The eastern half of Insula 5 in Regio VIII has a row of shops along via dell' Abbondanza at its intersection with via dei Teatri.
Behind are the House of Popidus Celsinus and the House of the Physician. In back, along the parallel vico Parete Rossa, are the Republican Baths, the House of the Red Walls, and an area with amphorae thought to have been a garden restuarant.
At far right is a small alleyway (vicolo) which effectively divides the insula into east and west halves.
