The Large Theater (VIII 7, 20) is viewed looking west. At left and center are the remains of dressing rooms used by actors in the performances. At center right is part of the wall which surrounded the theater.
At far right is the stage area, which at the time of this photo was covered with scaffolding. Above the arches at lower right is the tribunal, and adjacent seats on the west side of the theater.
