Across the via della Terme from a thermopolium (VI 8,8) is an double-doored entrance to the Forum Baths. The left hand door enters a stairwell once serving the Bath's second floor, while the right hand door leads down an incline to the ground floor.
Left of the doors a bench runs along the Bath's north wall. To the right of the doors stood a series of shops (VII 5,3-6).
