This
view shows the east wall of the mens' changing room or apodyterium.
There is a narrow concrete bench along the wall, with a shelf
above for storing the clothing of the bathers. The lower
part of the east wall was painted red, and the upper part white.
The room was lit by the circular skylight seen at upper left. Beneath it is the labrum or cold water basin.
