	The Roman fort at Daajania is located on the edge of the desert in southern Jordan, 40 km NE of Petra, and 32 km from the fortress at Udruh.  A nearby wadi provided water, stored in the large reservoir (now restored) seen below. A north-south Roman road with milestones went by the site, parallel to the Via Nova Traiana further west (Kennedy and Riley 1990, p.172).  The fort's coordinates are N 30.552682, E 35.761828. .
