Medinet Habu, plan of mortuary temple of  Ramesses III (Lepsius, Denkmaler v1, 1849)


This plan of the Temple of Ramesses III and associated structures at Medinet Habu shows details of the propylon, pylon, and temple seated within a thick, fortress-like enclosure wall. The plan was made during the German Expedition led by Carl Richard Lepsius in 1843-4, and published in the first volume of their report, the Denkmaler (1849).
