The temple of the falcon god Horus at Kom Ombo, and the adjacent ruins of the Temple of Sobek date from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods. In this 1890s photo by de Morgan the twin Temples are shown in the same uncleared state as in earlier images made by the French Expedition (1799), du Camp (1849), and Frith (1857).
