Temple of Hathor at Dendera, relief of capitals (photo: Beato 1867).
This relatively early photo at Dendera by Antonio Beato shows heads of the cow deity, Hathor in relief on the sides of the six capitals as well as on the front. Each column has a series of hieroglyphic inscriptions below the heads.
On the capitals over the heads of Hathor are standarized reliefs representing Egyptian temples.
