Plan of Lisht (Denkmaler v.1, 1849).
This drawing from the German Expedition of 1843-4 provided the first accurate plan of Lisht. It shows the 12th Dynasty temple and necropolis complex dating from ca. 1991-1926 BC.
Among the notable structures identified at Lisht are the Pyramid of Amenemhet I; the Temple of Senusret I; and the elaborate mastaba tomb of Imhotep, the legendary Middle Kingdom architect.
