Dijon: Grave stela of workshop (Dijon Mus. Arch; Athena Review Image Archive)
This 2nd-3rd century AD Gallo-Roman grave stela, found in the Castle Wall of Dijon, shows two men working in a shop.
The competent carving style and high level of detail make this relief comparable in descriptive value to the better-known stela of the wine merchant, from Til Chatel.
The stela is in the Dijon Museum of Archaeology.
