	Dijon: Abbey Church portal, sculpted head of St. Peter Dijon: Abbey Church, head of St. Peter (Dijon Mus. Arch; Athena Review Image Archive)
	This limestone head, once part of a full-length sculpture of St. Peter, was rediscovered in 1891 buried under the rue Crebillon in Dijon. It  was originally on the right side of the portal of the Abbey Church of St. Benin, which predated the cathedral. .
