A female Paranthropus robustus is represented by a nearly complete skull (sample DNH-7), now at the University of the Witwatersrand). The skull, including an articulated jawbone with most of the teeth, was found in 2000 at Drimolen Main Quarry in Guateng Province, South Africa.
