Pangea in the Permian, with dicynodont distribution (map: Athena Review).


This globe shows the mega-continent Pangaea during the Permian period (298-252 mya). 

The southern part of the map shows the widespread distribution in Gondwanaland of the dicynodonts Endothiodon, Cistecephalus, Oudenodon, and Pristerodon, during the Late Permian period of 265-252 mya.
