Deltavjatia  vjatkensis  was a pareiasaur reptile from the Late Permian in the Upper Tatarian, Severodviian Horizon, found along the Vyatka River in western Russia.     It belonged to the class reptilia, the order  procolophonomorpha and the family Pareiasauriidae. Deltavjatia vjatkensis, found at Koten'nich on the Vyatka River,  represents the Kotelnich faunal subassemblage.

The holotype of D. vjatkensis  (KPM 289) is a skeleton with a body length of 1.5 m (5 ft).   Deltavjatia was a plant-eater with a well-armored skull and body covered with bony plates and knobs, as protection against the many Late Permian carnivores that also inhabited the riverine environment.
