Acrodus anniangiae.was an Early Jurassic shark discovered at Lyme Regis, England in 1834 by Mary Anning, Elizabeth Philpot, and Louis Agassiz. Found in the Lower Blue Lias Formation of alternate limestone and mudstone layers along the Devonshire coast, it was named anniangiae after Mary Anning.This early shark (Chrondichthyes class), dating from the Early Jurassic Period at 200-195 mya, has six rows of nineteen to twenty teeth along its lower jaw.
