Selinunte: Temple E plan

Selinunte: Temple E plan (Athena Review)

Temple E was a Doric temple dedicated to Hera, and built at the beginning of the Classic period in 490-470 BC. It is the southermost of the East Group of temples at Selinunte.

Four of the metope stelae from Temple E were discovered in 1831; these are now displayed at the Archaeological Museum at Palermo.
