The figure of Athena at left  is damaged, missing arms, head, and the pectoral of Medusa. The figure of the giant Enkelados, at right, is also partly damaged, missing arms, feet, and part of the head.

This and three other metope reliefs from Temple E were found in the 1830s. They are now displayed in the Museo Archaeologico di Sicilia in Palermo. They date from the 5th century BC.
