A series of four reliefs from the metope of Temple E at Selinunte were recovered in the 1830s. These include:  a) Herakles and an Amazon; b) Hera and Zeus; c) Artemis and Acteon; and d) Athena and the giant Enkeladus.

These reliefs, shown in order from left to right, are displayed in the Museo Archaeologico di Sicilia in Palermo. They date from the 5th century BC.
