The House of the Sculptor (VIII.7.24) is located on via Stabiana, next to the Temple of  Aesculapius. The large tufa blocks forming the doorway to rooms on the north side of the atrium are of Samnite construction and date to the 2nd-1st century BC.

The atrium of the House of the Sculptor includes this small impluvium.

This house was excavated in 1773, 1796, and 1867.
