The
House of the Great Portal is located on the North side of
Decumanus Minor at Ins V, 18. Its entrance portal is flanked
by two pilasters of stuccoed brick, once painted red, whose Corinthian
capitals have figures of winged Victories. Over the architrave is
an indented brick cornice.
