This site map, made by Constantine Gatta in1732. is the earliest known site plan of Paestum. It made during an 18th century survey for a north-south highway in Italy.

Number 1 is the Temple of Poseidon; 2, the Temple of Hera; 3,  the Temple of Athena; 4, an east gate in the town wall; and 5, a west gate.
