Jerusalem: Map of Temple Mount (1907)

Jerusalem: Map of Temple Mount (Baedeker 1907)

This plan from Baedeker`s Guidebook (1907)is based on surveys by the Palestine Exploration Fund led by Wilson and Warren in 1865-1870. Features shown include gates along the western wall, such as the Bab-al Qattanin or Cotton Gate.

Other features from this late 19th  century map useful for reconstructing the Herodian through Crusader periods include aqueducts, the Double and Triple Gates, Robinson`s Arch, and the  Stables of Solomon.
