	This photo from the 1919-1948 collection of the Palestine Dept. of Antiquities (DAP) shows the altar of the Chapel of St. Helena in the eastern end of the chapel, behind the square grouping of four columns with Byzantine Corinithian capitals. The photos from the DAP are now stored at the Scientific Archive at the Israel Antiquities Institute (www.iaa-archives.org). .
